Set Free Challenge
Every Gift Is Being Doubled, Right Now
You may have heard us talk about being "set free" before. It's not just a new slogan, it's what ChurchApps has been about since day one, freeing the Church from software costs so you can focus on Kingdom work instead.
This fall we launched the Set Free Challenge. A generous donor has committed $50,000 to match every gift, dollar for dollar, between October 7 and December 31. That means whatever you're able to give right now does double the good, no matter the size.
39,000+Churches Served
$2,400Saved Per Church, Per Year
100%Free, Always
Less than 40¢ a month keeps one church running. A $50 gift becomes $100, and helps keep 250 churches free for a month. A $100 gift becomes $200, and reaches 500 churches.
$25 → $50125+ churches served for a month
$50 → $100250+ churches served for a month
$100 → $200500+ churches served for a month
The match runs through December 31, or until the full $50,000 pool is claimed. Whatever you're able to give this season, right now it goes twice as far.

Important Update
The B1 App in the App Store Is Being Retired, Here's What to Do
If your church or your members downloaded the B1 App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, there's something you need to know: that app is no longer being updated or supported.
The good news is that nothing about the B1 App itself has changed. The B1 App has moved to what's called a PWA, a progressive web app, so members can access it right from their phone's browser and it'll look, feel, and work just like an app, icon and all, without ever going through an app store.
Finding your church's link: You can use either your church's regular website (like tyrochristian.org) or their b1.church subdomain (like tyrochristian.b1.church), whichever you already have bookmarked or saved. Both work the same way. If you're not sure of either, just ask your church office.
On iPhone: Open the site in Safari (it has to be Safari, not Chrome, for this to work on iOS). Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen, scroll down, and tap "Add to Home Screen," then tap "Add" in the top right.
On Android: Open the site in Chrome. Tap the three dot menu in the top right, then tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install app," and confirm.
Either way, it takes about ten seconds and the icon lands right on the home screen like any other app. Why the change? A single web based version means new features and fixes reach every member instantly, instead of waiting on app store review and re-downloads.
If your church has been directing members to download the B1 App from the App Store or Google Play, it's worth updating that instruction now. Questions about the switch? Just reply to this email, we're happy to help.

How One Youth Group Uses B1's Blog to Help Students Catch Up on Sunday Mornings
A few newsletters back we told you B1 added a built in blogging tool. First Baptist Church Slidell has been putting it to work every week since July, turning their Sunday youth lessons into a growing library students can revisit any time.
Craig Safar takes each week's youth lesson and turns it into a blog post, a title, a featured image, and a summary, published straight from B1 Admin to the church's site. Recent posts have walked through Romans verse by verse and are now moving into a new series on Genesis.
"The blog feature has been invaluable for our youth group on Sunday mornings. By taking our lessons and creating a blog post, the students have an opportunity to catch up on mornings they missed, or have a reference point to go back to for further studies on their own or with their family."
It's a simple habit any ministry can start, not just youth group: a devotional, a lesson recap, an event update. Head to Website, then Blog, in B1 Admin to try it yourself.

By the Numbers
39,000+ Churches and Counting
Every week, more than 39,000 churches in over 150 countries log into B1, Lessons.church, FreeShow, or FreePlay, completely free. It's easy to lose sight of what that number actually means, so here's some perspective.
Running all six ChurchApps tools costs about $4.66 per church, per year, less than 40 cents a month. Buying comparable tools separately would run a typical church about $200 a month. That gap, multiplied across 39,000 churches, is the whole reason ChurchApps exists.
None of it happens without churches like yours choosing to give back a little of what you save. Thank you for being part of that number, and for helping keep it free for the next church that needs it.
