Oh, we’d love to make it completely free—who wouldn’t? But here’s the deal: credit card companies charge a transaction fee, and someone’s gotta cover it. Even banks sneak in a tiny fee for ACH transfers. Don’t worry, though—we’ve made it super easy with a little checkbox on the giving page so donors can cover the fee (and most do!). We’re always on the hunt for the best rates, and when we find them, we pass them right to you, our ChurchApps users!

Right now, we use Stripe, and you set up an account directly with them. Here’s the best part: zero—yep, nada, zilch—no credit card fees go to ChurchApps. We’re 100% funded by churches, businesses, and amazing donors like you! :) You can even negotiate those fees with Stripe. Just give them a call, let them know you’re a 501(c)(3), and mention that lots of your users give with debit cards (we encourage that!). You might get the rate down to around 1.9% and 20 cents per transaction. It’s all between you and Stripe—we’re just here to make accepting those payments as fun and easy as possible!

Absolutely, and it’s a breeze! You can easily add funds in your ChMS that show up on the public giving pages—like Youth Programs, Harvest Host, General Fund, Building Fund, or anything else you dream up. Whatever your church needs, we’ve got you covered with a super simple setup!

Yep, of course—and we’ve made it even better! Everyone who gives gets their own online portal where they can manage their giving, check out receipts, and see special church content just for them. Pretty neat, right? Plus, as the admin, you can log into their profile and print a receipt for them anytime they need one—super handy!

Technically, yes—but hear us out! If you’ve got a website, you’re probably paying for hosting or some kind of service, and chances are, it’s a pain to edit and doesn’t connect with your church management system at all.
